Your $500 is locked in when three things are true. Most referral programs bury the rules in the fine print, so people submit a name and then feel cheated when no check arrives. Here are the only three conditions, up front. Hit all three and the reward is yours.

  1. The project is $10,000 or more, with a signed agreement. Your referral signs a Vision Roof Services roofing agreement for a job priced at $10,000 or above. Smaller jobs don't qualify.

  2. The job is finished. We complete the work. A signed contract alone doesn't trigger the reward. The roof has to be done.

  3. The customer has paid in full. The deposit and final balance are both received. Once the account is settled, your reward clears.

  2. We reach out. Our team contacts them, runs a Roof Health Check, and writes up a proposal.

  3. They sign and we build. They approve the $10,000+ job, we complete it, and they pay in full.

  4. You get paid. A $500 prepaid card lands within 30 days of completion and full payment.

Who Can Participate?

If you'd recommend us to a friend, you're in.

  • Past and current customers. We've worked on your property, so you know what we do. Refer a neighbor, a relative, a business contact, or anyone with a roof that needs help.

  • Friends, family, and neighbors. You don't need to have hired us yourself. Know someone planning a roofing project? Send them our way.

    Who can't. This program is for individual referrals between real people. Lead-generation companies, marketing agencies, and anyone selling lead lists or contact data are not eligible.

Referral Program Faq

Is the $500 referral reward taxable?

Yes. The IRS treats a prepaid card the same as cash. For 2026, if your total rewards from us reach $2,000 in a calendar year, we'll collect a W-9 and issue a Form 1099-MISC. Under that amount, we don't file one, but the reward is still taxable income. This is general information, not tax advice. Check with a tax professional about your situation.

What should I tell the person I refer?

Tell them plainly that you may receive a reward if they hire us. The FTC asks people to disclose that kind of connection when they recommend a business. A single honest sentence does the job.

What counts as a qualifying referral?

A roofing project of $10,000 or more, with a signed Vision Roof Services agreement, that gets completed and paid in full. You also have to submit the referral before that person contacts us.

What if the person I refer already called you?

Then it doesn't qualify. Referrals have to come in before the lead's first contact with us. The form's submission timestamp is the deciding factor, so send it early.

What if two people refer the same person?

One reward per completed project. The first valid submission we receive is the one that gets paid.

How do I check on a referral I already sent?

When do I get paid, and how?

A $500 prepaid debit card, issued within 30 days of the job finishing and being paid in full.

Is there a limit on how many people I can refer?

No cap on submissions. You earn one reward per qualifying completed project, so the more good referrals you send, the more you can earn.

  • Referrals must be submitted prior to initial contact between the lead and Vision Roof Services.

  • Only one reward will be paid per referred project.

  • Vision Roof Services reserves the right to verify referral eligibility, reject questionable submissions, or discontinue the program at any time without prior notice.
