Job Title: Skilled Roofer
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Palm Desert, CA (Possible Travel)
Compensation: Starting at $28/hour (30-day probationary period with wage advancements based on performance)
Position Overview:
Vision Roof Services, a leader in the roofing industry, is seeking experienced and motivated Skilled Roofers to join our rapidly growing team. We are looking for professionals with expertise in roof removal, tile installation and repairs, as well as asphalt shingle installation and repairs. As a valued team member, you will contribute to Vision’s commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, helping us grow and scale across California, Arizona, and Texas.
Responsibilities:
Perform concrete and clay tile installation and repairs with precision.
Install and repair asphalt shingle roofs in accordance with industry standards.
Work on re-roofing projects, including removal and preparation of existing roof structures.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and successful project completion.
Follow all safety guidelines and company standards to ensure a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience in tile and asphalt shingle installation and repairs.
Team Player: Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
Driver’s License: Must have a valid California driver’s license and a clean driving record (required for driving company vehicles).
Physical Requirements: Comfortable working on roofs and ladders up to 2 stories high, with the ability to lift 60+ lbs.
Training and Probationary Period:
All accepted applicants will undergo a 30-day training/probationary period.
During this period, you will be evaluated to ensure you meet the qualifications and can handle the responsibilities of the position.
Successful completion of the probationary period will lead to a full-time position.
